About this tool
CSS Minifier parses your stylesheet and rewrites it without comments and redundant whitespace, keeping strings, url() values and custom properties intact. Rules are not merged or reordered, and no vendor prefixes are added. Sizes are measured in UTF-8 bytes; the output can be larger than the input when the source is already compact. Input that the parser cannot read is reported as an error and left untouched. Native CSS nesting and some newer at-rule syntax are not supported. Everything runs in your browser and your CSS is never uploaded.
